Originally built in 1952, The Koi Lodge has gone through 3 previous owners, each leaving a mark and making it the magical place you see today.

Set on an acre of mystical trees filled with pine and maple, the original cottage entrance is what is now the “beach access” side. The 1952 cottage got a major facelift in the late 80’s, again in the 2000’s and most recently, 2015. Commissioned by a renowned legendary visionary and artist, The Allegretti Group built a sustainable-in nature, holistic oasis that we’re proud to now call a sanctuary.

As for the koi, all 21 plus a baby koi! We really don’t know how they came about. But, each one is treated with TLC and well, a lot of food. They’re rambunctious, love to poke their heads out of the water when you walk around the pond and most have names we’ve coined or given by guests that visit.

The home and its memories of the past remain in the home through the furnishings, art and decor. The landscape pays homage to the many that have truly made this home a year-round retreat, from summer flowers blooming to the delicate snow that sits on the pines in the winter.
