It all started with Courtney and her infamous Tiny House and stylish Airbnbs. I rang, she answered. She never pushed nor gave up on us. She would always say “let’s keep going, you’ll know when it’s the one.” She’s now our local expert and can be found with a shaker in one hand, tequila in the other.

In partnership with Courtney, Darren took part in the year-long wrangling of the Komorowskis. Calm, patient, honest and always provided insightful intel on the quality of builds. It’s pretty easy to spot him, just look for a the massive white pickup truck – the ones that are bigger than a normal garage.

I quickly found out that Shea’s favorite pastime is not just cooking or hanging with her kids. Rather, she really shines when you say “here’s the credit card, what do we buy for the house?!” Thank you, Shea, for giving Stan anxiety and & much love to Naomi, our resident Koi Whisperer.

Eric, budding photographer, loves taking pictures of architecture and nature. Eric’s hobby-turned-side hustle has been recognized by major influencers and brands. Seeing his authentic love for this place meant a lot to us so we knew he would be part of capturing our home and its surroundings. Fun fact, Eric is responsible for naming The Koi Lodge!

Angela was a plant expert, talented cook, opinion-giver, and nap taker. Angela was truly a lodgekeeper’s dream come true. She knew all the local supper club eats, how to detangle the hoses, dug dirt and planted things all while avoiding a single mosquito bite.

We can all thank Charlie for upgrading the technology, security and Wi-Fi of The Koi Lodge from mediocre, middle-of-the-woods internet speed to modern day zoom calling while roasting s’mores. For any deers thinking about eating our plants or koi attempting an escape, we can all thank Charlie for catching them in the act!

Charlie M, new yorker, fashionista, and logistics maven was crucial to our home-search process. Given the Innkeeper doesn’t have a driver’s license, Charlie M was instrumental in driving Miss Mananya.
